The Generators page in the WC Key Manager plugin for WordPress is your go-to place for managing key generators. You can go to this page from Key Manager > Keys > Generators. Whether you’re creating, editing, or deleting key generators, this page offers a user-friendly interface to help you manage them efficiently.
From this page, you can Create a New Generator, view the list of all the generators you have created, and apply filters. Here they are:
Add New Generator: Quickly create a new key generator by clicking the Add New button.
Filter Generators: Easily filter generators based on their status:
- All: View all key generators.
- Active: See only active generators.
- Inactive: Find generators that are currently inactive
Understanding the Generators List
Each generator listed on this page provides essential details for effective management:
- Name: The name of the generator. Click to edit the generator settings.
- Pattern: The key pattern used by the generator, is essential for identifying the key format.
- Valid For: Displays the validity period of the keys generated (e.g., “Lifetime”).
- Activation Limit: This shows the maximum number of activations allowed per key.
- Status: Indicates whether the generator is Active or Inactive.
How to Manage Key Generators
Managing key generators is simple. Hover over a generator’s name to access the following options:
- Edit Generator: Modify the generator’s settings, including name, pattern, validity, activation limit, and status.
- Activate/Deactivate Generator: Toggle the generator’s status to control whether it can create new keys.
- Delete Generator: Permanently remove a generator.
Bulk Actions for Key Generators
For managing multiple key generators at once:
- Select the generators you want to modify.
- Use the Bulk Actions dropdown to choose:
- Activate: Activate all selected generators.
- Deactivate: Deactivate all selected generators.
- Delete: Permanently delete selected generators.
Search for Key Generators
If you have many key generators, use the search bar located at the top right of the page to quickly find the one you need by entering its name.
