Configure key management for variable products – different keys, pricing, and limits per variation.
Enabling Key
Step 1: Access Product
- Go to Products > [Edit Variable Product]
- Find Product Data panel
- Check the “Keys” option
Step 2: Configure Variations
- Click Variations tab
- Expand variation to configure
- Find Key Manager section for the variation
- Configure Key Type (Automatic, Preset), Key Generator, Sequential Keys, and Delivery Quantity
- Save variation
Each variation is configured independently
Variation Examples
Example 1: License Tiers
Product: Software License

Customer buys the Pro variation:
- Receives key from Generator B

Per-Variation Stock
Each variation has an independent stock:
Variation: Basic – Available keys: 100, Stock: 100
Variation: Pro – Available keys: 50, Stock: 50
Variation: Enterprise – Available keys: 20, Stock: 20

- Enable Manage Stock
- Repeat for each variation
